when I'm feeling all angst and nostalgic.. country music's the way to go..

the competition on Monday was a tough one.. I didn't manage to make it to the finals as only 6 out of 57 contestants were selected.. I did however.. learnt a few tricks and made quite a few friends out of it too.. pictures will be uploaded into my drink blog very soon.. I was real moody at work today as I went to Labrador park with my bar sup, wan the flair ninja and a few others to drink at the roof-top of a spa resort last night.. it was a sight to remember cos it's damn spacious and I was directly under the moonlight with a complete view of the sea.. we talked a lot about work related stuff till I felt asleep.. in the end I talked to my friend who's the assistant manager there now and she said it's only $45++ for 3 hours of free flow house-pour booze and finger food.. how cool is that.. okay Ezra is in my room obsessing on Resident Evil 5 and it looks like it'd only be till dawn.. and Jagerfest tomorrow night at dbl O.. maybe I should just drink my life away.. again.

WOW. Real steamy..

I'm back and I've got a few things to mention.. firstly, my cocktail name and concoction for my upcoming competition is done and it's called Manuka Desire.. to know more do check out my drink blog Euphoric Intoxication on my links.. I was just informed of yet another major cocktail competition.. the 21st National Cocktail Competition.. this might just be the biggest one of all cos most of the major beverage suppliers are all endorsing their products into the competition.. companies like Diageo, Bacardi-martini, Delfi, Pernod Ricard and many more.. and I am joining. :) more information will be up soon so as to not be confused with Bacardi-Martini Grand Prix 2009.. am gonna need all the support I can get man.. the heats will be held on June 8, Monday 2-7p.m, at dbl O.. free entrance so do COME!!

last week was pretty fun I must say.. got to know Yishun better in the middle of the night.. invaded the poolside of a condo with part of FFF and all.. on the plus side, the liquor treasure cabinet little itchy fishes and unbelievably young dad was so cool too.. and man I didn't know such a cosy national service resort at Changi coast walk existed until last night.. except for the warm water in the pool(I like it real cold).. everything else was awesome.. the company especially :) the booze was nothing compared to FFF's upcoming Jagerfest in dbl O though hahaha. and eh.. super steamboat very soon too @_@

a few facts I realised while I'm on attachment..

1. I happen to wear the fanciest formal shoe in the office.
2. My drinking cup is the largest in the pantry.
3. My small working space is in between both my direct supervisors.
4. I have a funny boss that likes Mexician music(Iguna kind).
5. I hate the sound of the shredding machine.

Sigh these past few days have been quite puzzling and uncertain for me.. my drink concoction is done but I'm still short of my main alcohol base to even try out the cocktail.. I'd be using 42 below's Manuka Honey Vodka.. kind of a shocker but it'll do fine.. I still haven't found any edible flowers as of yet for my garnish too.. any suggestions? flowers like honeysuckle or dandelions would be great..

what I've learnt is it takes 43 muscles to frown, but only 17 muscles to smile. That makes it 2.5 times easier to smile.

so eh.. I'm sorry yeah.. let's just chill-out party more :)

just a quick update.. my first day of attachment in Fujitsu turned out to be really dreadful.. all I did was filing a ton of "confidential stuff" and shred half of them at the end of the day.. but thankfully the people there are friendly.. especially the H.R manager and my O.I.C.. he allowed to take leave for tomorrow's Bacardi-Martini grand prix briefing at Singapore Tourism Board!! lol the second day of attachment and I'm already requesting an off.. wonder what will it be like for the 11 more weeks to come..

sigh I'm still saving up to get myself a new air-con unit for my room.. should depend on my own now.. I guess my current washed up one has already depreciated to the max that's why it's producing nothing at all.. what's worst was I just friggin broke my keyboard roller compartment on my desk-top table too.. ultimate ZZZ. now I'm trying to fix it with elephant glue lol. or maybe I should just destroy it and get a new one.. this sucks!
